Jennie Sherwin, #RRBC’s Bethany Turner “Pay It Forward” Week Recipient

J Sherwin pic We kick off Bethany Turner’s Pay It Forward Week honoring a well liked author in the Rave Reviews Book Club community—Jennie Sherwin—author of “Intentional Healing: One Woman’s Path to Higher Consciousness and Freedom from Environmental and Other Chronic Illnesses”.

Today, we salute a writer whose style, as described by Amazon Kindle readers, is “crisp and clear”. One reviewer said, “I found this book beautifully written and so compelling.” While another reviewer commented, “It was such a joy to read that I could not put it down.”

This former high school English teacher and writer/editor in the field of public health was propelled to undertake a medical journey that ultimately revealed healing solutions that would inform her journey to self healing from environmental illnesses and chemical sensitivity.

“One Woman’s Path to Higher Consciousness and Freedom from Environmental and Other Chronic Illnesses” chronicles Jennie’s travels in search of relief when traditional medicine wasn’t enough. Unselfishly, Jennie has brought all of these answers together, in one place, to share with her readers.

Here’s what Jennie Sherwin says about herself…
“I grew up in a small town in New Jersey and have always loved reading and writing. In one way or another I’ve put that interest to good use. I was a teacher of English for seven years before landing my dream job at Random House. As a member of the human resources department I didn’t work directly in publishing; however, one of my duties, the production of “News at Random” (the employee newsletter), brought me into contact with some of the editors I came to know and admire. A project at Random House led to my considering and accepting an offer to work in the consulting industry. For the past twenty-three years I’ve worked as a writer and editor in the field of public health, first as an employee of large organizations and then as a self-employed freelancer. My life has taken a new direction as a result of guidance from the mentors I name in my book and years of meditation that led to a change in consciousness. Nevertheless, I still work with researchers and writers who wish to produce books and articles for publication.”

Thanks for having us all over, Linda

      1. I was paraphrasing ‘Stairway to Heaven’ Linda – the lack of cherubs made me think more of Nirvana (even though the song’s by Led Zeppelin)… guess we Boomers are getting nostalgic! 😉
