Gypsy Woman

Fire danceThe WP Daily Word—Undulate

I’m reminded of a song of my youth. Gypsy Woman by Curtis Mayfield and the Impressions. It describes a lovely, dark-haired woman dancing around a campfire light. The song is full of imagery and longing. The images are so vivid that every time I hear the song, I can see her body undulate as all the men sit crosslegged near the campfire, entranced.

Today I found a different recording of the song, but I’m sure you will love it as much as I loved Mr. Mayfield’s rendition. Let it inspire you to relax, unwind, and dream. Allow your body to undulate to the smooth sounds of music!
