Writing is a solitary activity, but when you’re finished writing, where do you turn to market, promote, and get reviews for your work? Your book is finally published, yet the only sales you’ve made have been on Amazon’s free give-away days. Those free sales haven’t garnered you any reviews.
RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB is one of a handful of groups that the indie community can count on to push us and our work. RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB (#RRBC) provides support, but it also offers perks to its members on a daily basis!
RRBC motivates and celebrates independent authors by pushing old and new releases. Author/members participate in reciprocal practices like tweeting and retweeting each other on Twitter. We sponsor members on blog tours and in return, members sponsor us.
We all love to read, right? If you leave an honest review for a member author, more than likely, they’ll leave one for you. Membership isn’t easy. Just like anything worth participating in, you have to make an effort. When there are events like Book of the Month, PUSH Tuesday, Spotlight Author, and various Blog Talk Radio Shows, members are expected to occasionally show support.
I’ve met some wonderful people who just happen to be outstanding authors. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to believe that these talented writers are my village.
Interested? I was! There is a nominal fee to join RAVE REVIEWS BOOK CLUB, and to remain a member the only other requirement is to read and review four members’ books each year.
RRBC isn’t a perfect group, but if you join and share your skills, it can be. If you’re fine with writing for yourself and your mom—great! But if you’re serious about being discovered and appreciated, follow the link below and tell them Linda Mims sent you.
